Twenty six year old Gerald better known as G-Eazy is an up and coming rapper and New Orleans native. He started making music at the age of thirteen but remained unnoticed until he released the song and music video to "Runaround Sue" which was released in 2011. This song got some attention on the internet, he had to release more music soon to stay on people's radar. G-Eazy now has multiple mixtapes. His latest album "These Things Happen" released in June of 2014 hit number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. G-Eazy will be releasing his second album this year and is expected to be at the top of the charts. I guess you could say he has come a long way from passing out mixtapes.
I enjoyed reading about this artist. I love when artists can take music from other genres and decades and make them their own. A link to his youtube of your favorite song might be a great addition to this post.

Make sure to develop that discussion further to create significance for your audience. Don't be too brief because it makes you sound somewhat uninterested in your own writing/topic.
